Activities on site or a short walk

Sit back and relax with local wildlife, such as kangaroos, ducks & other birds that enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Ball games, barbecues and star gazing are easy and inexpensive entertainment for families of all sizes and there is plenty of room to enjoy them.

The Surf Coast Walk is perfect for a stroll or the mountain bike. A beautiful track with breathtaking coastal scenery.

 

Activities a short drive away

Staying at Bells Beach Cottages you are surrounded by a wealth of activities that are only a short drive away. Station yourself at one of our cottages and explore the area from there. SURF

Visit the iconic Bells Beach, home of the Rip Curl Pro, the longest running professional surfing contest in the world. Try some surfing lessons or surfboard hire, visit the ‘Surf City Surf Shops’ (home of Ripcurl & Quicksilver), or even visit Torquay ‘Surfworld’ Surfing Museum for a bit of surfing history.

EAT

The Great Ocean Road is on our doorstep and there are many great coffee shops, pubs and restaurants with great views, all within a short drive. The Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery runs regular classes that are sure to please all ages.

DRINK

Great Ocean Road Wines has a great local drop that you can order online, or try lunch at Bellbrae Estate. It’s family and pet friendly, so the kids can run around outside while you indulge.

Bells Beach Brewing and Blackmans Brewery are both fantastic independent breweries in Torquay with great atmosphere and award-winning beer.

Anglesea Golf Course (complete with 100’s of resident kangaroos), pubs, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, day spas, and wineries & only 30 minutes from Avalon Airport (home to Jetstar airline).
